Don’t be put off by the Championship tag. The event attracts runners across a broad range in abilities and includes age groups up to W65+ and M70+. The emphasis is on participation, with a chance to run against people of your own age.

It will be a 3-lap course through woodland, with one significant climb on each lap. Good facilities at Hillingdon AC’s clubhouse.

This is the final competition in the cross country 2012-13 season, so all you Masters age-group runners, do think about giving it one final go.

Val and I look forward to hearing from you,

Malcolm French
