ATW Metropolitan Cross Country League – Race 3

Shaftesbury Barnet dominated the front of the women’s race with five of their team finishing in the top 9 places. Our team finished 13th, 15th, 16th, 19th, 20th and 23rd which would often be enough to win but nowhere near in this race. Shaftesbury Barnet now lead division one 14 points ahead of us. Our B team came 6th and are 6th in division one, while our C team came 3rd in division two and are leading that division. It’s looking more and more likely that all three of our women’s teams will be in division one next season! Serpie results.
In the men’s race, it was good to see Nick Torry racing again and he led our team home in 12th place. Our A team finished 3rd in the race with Shaftesbury Barnet just behind, but it was enough for us to retain our 3rd place in division one. Highgate Harriers are still in the top slot. Our B team came 9th but are still in 10th place in division one and will be relegated unless we can move up to 8th. Our C team came 5th in division two and are 7th in the league table. Serpie results.
Full results and league tables are on the Metropolitan League website.
