Assembly League – Serpentine home race

This Thursday, 5 July, it's Serpentine's turn to host a round in the Assembly League. It's the first time we've had a home race in this competition. The race will be in Battersea Park and we'll be using the 5k course we used for the Serpentine 5k Championship. The race starts at 7.15pm.
The meeting point will be the Battersea Park Bandstand (not the Millennium Arena, this time), which is in the middle of the park.
If you haven't run in an Assembly League race before, you might like to know that this is an inter-club series of six races. The races are open to all Serpies. All entries are taken on the day. The races usually attract about 200 runners of all standards.
There is no entry fee as the club pays this as one of your membership benefits. However, on this occasion, if you want to make use of the changing rooms at Millennium Arena you will need to pay their usual charge of £2.60. If possible, please run in a Serpie top.
