The trip is open to both runners and non-runners who wish to come along to support. Please do not let the ‘championships' title put you off. The race is open to everyone and we want to take as many runners as possible.

Train

The group will travel by train from Victoria Station to Falmer station on Saturday 28^th (around 10.30am) and return from Brighton station on Sunday morning (around 11am) allowing time for a morning run.

The tickets will be for specified times (exact time to be provided nearer the time) and I will meet everyone at Victoria in the morning. If you want to travel from a different station (join the train at Clapham Junction for example) I am happy to give you your ticket in advance on a Wednesday evening, but it will be a ticket for a specific train from Victoria and it is your responsibility to make sure this is valid from other stations and that you join the correct train.

If you wish to make your own travel arrangements, advance train tickets are currently £5 each way. Please book your tickets now as the club is not offering any subsidy for travel given that club members are required to pay the first £10.

You do not need to book your own train tickets if you are travelling with the group.

Hotel

The hotel is the Hilton Metropole: www.hilton.co.uk/brightonmet (the cheapest hotel for a large group booking with breakfast I could find in central Brighton.)

Breakfast is included, as is use of the pool/ sauna/ gym.

The cost of the trip including the train ticket is £45 for a triple room of three sharing or £55 for a double or twin with two sharing. There is also an option to book the hotel without the train ticket (a reduction of £10) if you wish to make your own travel arrangements.

No refunds will be given, but I will swap places where this is possible (not guaranteed).
