London Cross Country Champs: 20 November

The London Championships will take place at Parliament Hill Fields, Hampstead Heath on Saturday, 20 November. They will be run over a course of 6km for women, starting at 2.00pm and 10km for men, starting at 2.30pm. Please note that both races will start promptly and before other races on the programme have finished. Please take care not to miss your start time.
Chip Timing will be used. You must arrive in plenty of time to collect your chip.
We will meet by the northern side of the athletics track, not on the front steps of the Lido – www.runtrackdir.com/details.asp?track=london-ph
Please note that Jeannette Mueller, assisted by Jaran Finn, will be managing the men's team.
Female and male changing, showers, etc will be available at the Lido.
You will need to wear a race number and timing chip that you will collect on the day from the Serpentine Team Managers, Stephanie Vaatz and Jeannette Mueller.
You must run in a Serpentine Running Club top, not a Tri top. If you try to run without a race number, chip, or arrive late and try to join in the race part of the way though, you will be disqualified.
Travel – I would advise you to use public transport. "Residents Only" parking restrictions apply in all surrounding streets until 1.30pm. Belsize Park tube (Northern Line) is about 1 mile distant, as is Tuffnel Park. Gospel Oak (Overground – North London Line) adjoins the Heath entrance. Care: please check that trains are running on the North London Line as weekend engineering work frequently takes place. Bus route 214 runs from Kings Cross, via Kentish Town (Northern Line) to Highgate Road every 10 minutes. Ask to get off at the Parliament Hill Fields stop. The bus journey from Kings Cross takes about 45 minutes but you can pick up the bus opposite Kentish Town Tube station.
