Cross Country presentation at Seymour – Wednesday, 3 October

Runner in Hyde Park

With the new cross country season rapidly approaching, Victoria Crawford and I thought it would be good to give a short presentation about what we’ve got coming up.  The presentation will be aimed at people who are new to the club and want to know what the cross country season involves, plus members who are thinking about giving cross country a go for the first time and are wondering if it’s right for them. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions too.

Last year was the club’s most successful cross country season and we’d like to build on that success.  It’s also a very inclusive and sociable part of our sport.  There were several occasions when we had more than 60 Serpies at a race, which makes for a great team atmosphere.

The presentation will take place after the club run on Wednesday, 3 October.  It will be held in our basement clubroom at the Seymour Leisure Centre starting at 8.30pm and will last about 30 minutes.  No need to book ahead: just come along and learn more.
