North London Cross Country Championships – Saturday, 14 November

The North London Championship will be held at Alexandra Palace. The host club will be London Heathside AC. Advance entry was required and entries have now closed. You can’t simply turn up on the day and run.

The women’s 6000m race starts at 2.00pm.

The men’s 5-mile race starts at 2.45pm.

The course will be over parkland in Alexandra Park and will include a steep climb on each lap. Spikes, studs or other off-road shoes are advisable.

Changing rooms, showers, post race refreshments and trophy presentations will be at the North Middlesex Sports and Cricket Club, Park Road, Hornsey, N8 – http://www.northmiddlesexcc.co.uk/documents/location.html

The course is 10-minutes walk from the cricket club.

Travel by car: parking is available in Alexandra Park adjacent to the course.

By public transport: there are numerous options. You are recommended to check the Journey Planner section of the Transport For London website – http://www.tfl.gov.uk – for detailed information. The closest station is Hornsey. There is a service from Kings Cross that runs every 15 minutes. Journey time 10 minutes. The Race HQ is a 15-minute walk from the station.

You must run in club colours. Race numbers will be available from Stephanie Vaatz and Malcolm French in the start area.
