Assembly League: Thursday, 13 August – Victoria Park, Hackney

The fifth race in this year’s series will be in Victoria Park, Hackney on Thursday, 13 August. Distance, 3.5 miles. Start 7.15pm. A flat, figure-of-eight course on traffic-free paths within the park.
Meet at Victoria Park Harriers clubhouse on the north-east edge of the park, at the junction of Cadogan Terrace and Victoria Park Road, E9 5EG. Changing rooms, showers, etc here.

The Assembly League is an inter-club series. The races are open to all Serpies. The races usually attract about 200 runners of all standards. There is no entry fee as the club pays this as one of your membership benefits. If possible, please run in a Serpie top.
Travel: the nearest tube is Mile End (Central, District and Hammersmith lines). It’s about 25 minutes walk from the station to the clubhouse. The nearest National Rail stations are Hackney Wick and Homerton on the North London Line. The clubhouse is also within reach of several bus routes: S2, 8, 30, 236, 276, 277 and 388. There is a cycle rack outside the clubhouse.
