Assembly League – 2 July

Runner in Hyde Park

The fourth race in this year’s series will be at The Dome (O2 Arena), Greenwich. Distance, c.5km. Start 7.15pm. A traffic free, flat, straightforward, out and back course, most of which is along the Thames cycle path. The meeting point is close to the entrance to the David Beckham Football Academy.

The Assembly League is an inter-club series. The race is open to all Serpies. The race usually attracts about 200 runners of all standards. There is no entry fee as the club pays this as one of your membership benefits. If possible, please run in a Serpie top. There is no need to enter in advance: all race numbers are issued on the day.

Travel: the nearest tube is North Greenwich on the Jubilee Line. Use the exit that is to the left-hand side of the Bus Station. The start is a couple of minutes walk in the direction of The Dome.

Please note that there are no changing facilities. Therefore, please arrive in your running kit. There are public toilets at the tube station. In the past, these toilets have been well maintained.

Post race drinks at The Pilot Inn, just 5 minutes walk from the finish in West Parkside, which has a nice garden should the weather be good.
