Conditioning Courses for Runners

The Serpentine Running Club is holding two, four-week courses on Tuesday evenings, in the Club Room at the Seymour Centre, aimed at helping runners to improve their performance. The classes are taught by personal trainer and Pilates teacher, Laura Williams.
· The first course takes place at 6.15pm and is a strength and conditioning class. Suitable for those who are interested in the prevention of injuries, increasing muscle endurance and strengthening weak joints and muscles (you’ll need a Reebok Resistance Tube Level 3 for this class. Available from Amazon, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Reebok-Resistance-Tube/dp/B000IEOQXU )
* The second class, at 7.15pm, is a Pilates and flexibility class aimed at those who want to work on improving their core stability and easing tight hamstrings!
Both classes will have a capacity of just 8 so there will be plenty of individual attention on offer. You’ll also be given handouts after each session and a maintenance programme at the end of the course so that you can incorporate your exercises into your current routine.
