SEAA Road Relay Championships, Aldershot

we had 6 team competing in the southern 6-stage/4-stage road relay championships in Aldershot over the weekend.
Our two male vets teams couldn’t quite beat the best ever Serpie results but came pretty close, meanwhile our senior women also came quite close to the best ever Serpie female result. Our men, however, have now set the Serpie standard in the championship, breaking the 2 hour barrier for the first time and almost a minute faster than the previous best, set in 1996.
Having qualified, we’ll now be sending Senior men’s and women’s teams to Sutton Colfield for the national championships on 18th October.
