Kit sellers required

As many of you will be aware, our kitmistress Lynne and tri kit guru Jenny have recently retired after long and extremely valuable periods of service. I\’m sure you\’ll all join me in thanking them for their great efforts. Michael Hanreck and myself have now taken over the responsibilities for all the kit, however due to numerous other responsibilities neither of us will be available on a regular basis to sell the kit to members. So I am looking for 2 or 3 people to volunteer to sell kit on a Wednesday night or Saturday morning.
My plan is for the kit room to be open each Wed night before the run, except for the last Wed of each month (coinciding with the Wine & Cheese night) when it will be open for 30 minutes or so after the run, and perhaps every fortnight on Saturday mornings.
You WILL NOT be required to help out every week, you WILL still be able to run as normal, and you WILL NOT have to take responsibility for new kit orders. We WILL be there to help you get started and whenever you need assistance.
I have developed a system for selling kit now which should make the job quite straightforward, so I\’m looking forward to choosing candidates from a big list of interested people. We are a very big club now, and it takes a huge amount of work to keep it thriving the way it is. At the moment most of this work is falling to far too few people, so please do your bit to help out. If you\’d like to help, but don\’t fancy this job, please contact Nadya Labib who will put you to work in something valuable I\’m sure.
Many thanks,
Justin (justin.lock@csc.mrc.ac.uk).
