T&F success in Aldershot

On Saturday 9th of July our T&F team won the division 4 meeting in Aldershot against Tonbridge, Fleet and Aldershot with an impressive 152 points. We won every event from 800m to 5000m and the 110m hurdles and scored well in all other events to get the necessary points to climb up the ladder. A win in the last meeting in Dartford could mean promotion to division 3, because Herne Hill lost to Paddock Wood this weekend. With 2 wins and 2 2nd places this season looks very promising so far.
The provisional top of the table looks like this:
1. Tunbridge Wells combined 16; 2. Serpentine 14; 3. Paddock Wood 13 (578.5); 4. Herne Hill 13 (559); 5 Fleet 13 (515.5); 6 Haywards Heath combined 12
Team captain Justin look says thank you to all athletes and also to our official who supported us at this meeting.
The division 1 team came 4th in Milton Keynes today and have just lost touch with the top of the table. However, with 2 meetings still being left it would be to early too loose hope for a spot in the British league.
Full results of both meetings will be posted in the database shortly.
