Coombe Hill 5M club championship race

Over 50 Serpies travelled down to Kingston to run the annual Coombe Hill 5M race. With only about 170 entrants we dominated the field. As usual this proved to be an enjoyable and well organised little race, all the more so for being cool, still and sunny – perfect for a good race.
Barbara won the women’s race and broke the course record to collect an extra prize. Karen Hancock was first WV45 and Anthony Stranger Jones was first V60.
Serpies also took both the men’s and women’s team prizes.
