Time: From 18:00
The evening itself…
You will enjoy some good music, a friendly atmosphere and, most importantly, the fantastic company of fellow Serpies. We hope the event will be a chance not just for longstanding members to catch up, but also for new members to meet more people in the club.
The ticket costs £35 – this includes dinner and a welcome drink on arrival.
Members are welcome to buy a ticket for a ‘plus-one’. Please feel free to invite a guest – whether it’s a friend, partner, or family member – it will be wonderful to have them join us!
Dress code: Smart casual – we usually see each other in sweaty running gear, so let’s leave that at home for this evening and get our party clothes out! Of course that doesn’t have to be black-tie or a suit, but perhaps jeans/trousers and a nice shirt, or a summer dress.
Finally, we are delighted to have invited a few founding members of Serpentine Running Club to join us! We can’t wait to hear from them about what this club was like in its early days during the 1980s – don’t miss this memorable occasion!
How to buy a ticket?
Follow this link on our website – you will need to be logged into Serpiebase to make a purchase.
Please also fill in this Google form to indicate your food preference and any dietary requirements. Dinner will be a buffet with a selection of meat, fish or vegetarian options. Please give us an indication of what you’re likely to choose so we have an idea of numbers to pre-order.
Please purchase your ticket(s) and complete the Google Form by Tuesday 5th July.
Fancy partying day as well as night??
Apart from being a partying club, we are also a running club! We are going to kick off the day of the party (Saturday 16th July) with a 1k club championship race in Hyde Park Rotten Row at 09:00. We hope you will join us to run or volunteer. Please follow this link for more details.
After the race, we will head to the Serpentine Lido Café for a Serpentine birthday cake. We would love to see as many of you as possible there. If you can’t make it to the party in the evening, this is a good way to still be part of the anniversary celebrations.
