Serpies Trail Run - Sunday 26 June, Epping Forest

This month we are staying more local due to the likely rail strikes. The route is accesible by underground. It is a point to point trail run of around 24km (15 miles) which includes the whole length of Epping Forest.

Date: Sunday 26 June
Place: Epping Forest Centenary Route

The Centenary Route is mainly wooded trail through the forest. The first part of the route is paved, but then leads onto unpaved forest trails.

We will all meet directly at Manor Park underground station for the start of the run. At the end of the run the nearest underground is Epping. After the run, you will be able to join us in a pub in Epping to celebrate and rest.

Come and enjoy some fresh air and friendly chat with fellow Serpies who share a passion for the outdoors.

This run will be at a social pace. The idea is to run together and have fun. If you can run a 10k in about 60 minutes and have covered this sort of distance before, you should be fine to run at a social pace. If anyone is interested in guiding a group either at the front or as tail runner then please indicate on the sign up page.

If you are interested please fill in your details here.

You need to be a Serpentine RC member to participate. After signing up you will be contacted nearer the time to let you know the meeting time (it will be in the morning) and exact location. You will also be sent more details of the route.

Any questions please contact me directly.
