Athletics Social – Wednesday 23rd March
We are inviting all Club members to our Athletics Social later in March.
Date: Wednesday 23rd March 2022
Time: From 8:30pm onwards
Venue: The Larrik, 32 Crawford Pl, London W1H 5NN (at the back of Seymour Centre, closest tube Edgware Road)
During the event we will present the awards for the 2021 season. Also we will give everyone a taster of what races/track meets are to come in the upcoming Athletics season in the summer – you’ll get to know about the leagues we enter, such as the Southern Athletics League (SAL), Rosenheim, and the Southern Vets. If you’re interested in officiating in track and field events, this is an opportunity to find out as well.
Despite this being an ‘Athletics’ event, you don’t need to have taken part in track and field before – as long as you’d like to come and socialise! We are also meeting after the normal club run session, so come along after the runs. You’d be pleased to know that we are planning to provide some finger food on the night. Who knows – maybe you’ll end up coming to a track meet or two this summer!
