Club Runs over Christmas and New Year
The last Hyde Park club run of 2021 is on 22nd December (but note the club room is closed), and Hyde Park runs will re-start on 5th January. Richmond Park runs will continue throughout the Christmas period.
On 22nd December 2021, the Hyde Park club run will take place with some variations. The club rooms at the Seymour Centre will be closed. However, the Seymour Centre is open, so if you want to change and leave your bags there show your membership card to the staff on reception who will let you in. You need a padlock to use the lockers in the changing rooms. Runs will leave from the usual spot near Speakers Corner from 18:45 (8:30min mile runners and faster) and from 18:55 (everyone else). With fewer runners expected, not all routes/pace groups may be on offer.
There are no club runs on Christmas Day, 29th December or New Year's Day. There will however be a NYD10K run for the volunteers on 31st December. If you haven't volunteered yet, do sign-up here.
Richmond Park Sunday runs will happen as normal on both 26th December and 2nd January. Why not take this opportunity to head over to Richmond Park and try out this run?
