Sunday Cross Country League - 1 December

This coming Sunday (1 December) it’s the second of this season’s Sunday Cross Country League races.  If you were in Trent Park for the Fraternity Cup race, you may wonder what’s the attraction of returning to the same venue so soon.  The good news is that the Sunday League course will use a completely different part of this very large park, the more scenic side with views over the fishing lakes to the famous mansion (read about its history on http://trentparkmuseum.org.uk/)

Location:        Trent Park Country Park, Cockfosters Entrance, EN4 0JZ

Time:              10.30am start

Course:           5 miles [8K] of rolling park and woodland.

Surface:          Grass and gravel paths. Trail shoes or spikes recommended.

Facilities:        Public toilets available near café and car park area

Kit:                 Unsupervised area around the start and finish

Travel:            Parking is available within Trent Park but is limited. Given the proximity of Trent Park to Cockfosters and Oakwood underground stations, use of public transport is strongly recommended.  There is NO parking available at Southgate Hockey Club.
