Serpie Trail - Box Hill 23 November 2019 (Saturday)

This Saturday (23 November 2019) we have a social trail run in the Box Hill.  It is a 12 km circular through scenic undulating countryside from the Dorking station with a lot of ups and downs around the infamous Box Hill, with a pub stop near the end if you have time to stay.

We welcome all runners with different abilities. We will move at the ‘sociable’ pace with a lot of stops, so this is suitable for people who do not take running too seriously.

TRAINS

I am on the 0854 train from London Waterloo to Dorking (Main) arriving at 0945.  Meet me at either of these stations or in the train.

WHAT TO BRING

It's an unsupported run with nowhere to leave bags at the start, so come in your running gear and bring only what you will take with you on the run.  Bring some water, a few snacks for the trail, a rain jacket and a warm top for afterwards, plus a small rucksack to carry it all.  Trail shoes with the good grip strongly recommended.

LET’S TALK

I know that you fine people are already doing this, but let’s make #runandtalk our priority.   The whole objective for this is to have a good time with a like-minded people whilst doing something healthy.  Let’s #runandtalk.
