In what is always a very competitive event, the team of six ran the 6.1k undulating course in a cumulative time of 1:41:50, just 40 seconds behind first-placed Aldershot.

Our B team (Matthew Salisbury, Philip Whitehouse, Peter Clarke, Brett Osler, Danishe Arshad & Tom Poynton) finished in 71st place in a cumulative time of 2:11:29, so many congratulations to them too. Unfortunately there were no women's teams entered.

The top 25 teams from the event qualify for the National Road Relays in Sutton Park, Birmingham, on Sunday 6th October. so we are looking forward to another strong showing there. However we do now have one or two vacancies in the team, so if you are able to take part please do contact me.
