Seminar on Prevention and Management of Common Running Injuries

The next Serpie seminar will take place at 7pm in the upstairs conference room in the Seymour Centre on Monday 30 September.  This will cover running injuries (and how to avoid them) and sign-ups are now open.

We will be hosting an event covering all aspects of in season vs. off season training. The presentation will be delivered by Physiotherapist Huub Habets, Sports Massage Therapist Lynsey Ellis, and Strength and Conditioning Coach Nick Beer from Pure Sports Medicine, who kindly presented to us last year.

Key points to summarise this event or class:

• Prevention of common running injuries

• Preparations for competition during off season, as well as in season

• Training periodisation

• Exercise demonstrations from the Pure Sports Medicine Team

• Q & A

Time, cost & booking information go below:

• Arrive from 6:30pm, aim to start the presentation at 7pm - we should be done by 8:30pm.

• Free to attend

• Please add your name to the events planner on the club website if you would like to attend - add any issues you want covering in the notes section.

Hope to see you there!
