Club record broken
Congratulations to Callan Moody, who broke the men's club record for 5000m (track) last night in a time of 13:59.36 at the MK5000PB Special Open.
Callan took 19 seconds off the club record which had stood for six years, finishing in fifth place in the elite men's A race (only two seconds behind the winner), which served as the England Athletics national championship for that distance.
Nick Torry took a season's best in thet race with 14:43.72. Meanwhile Will Green cemented his position as one of the fastest V40s in the country with a PB of 14:48.36 in an earlier race, with Jonathan Poole (14:44.01) also doing well, as well as a number of other fine Serpie performances. Congratulations to them all!
