Nick Torry breaks V40 club record

Many congratulations to Nick Torry who broke the men's V40 club record at the Paddock Wood Half Marathon yesterday.

Nick ran 65:34 to win the race and to take over two and a half minutes off the V40 club record.  This is also the fastest half-marathon time by a British V40 runner since September 2013, according to the Power of 10 rankings, which gives you some indication of just how good a result that is.  Following closely behind Nick was Andy Greenleaf in second place, clocking 66:46 to go under 67 minutes for the second time this spring.  Congratulations to all Serpentine runners on what was a very busy weekend for racing, and many thanks to the results elves for uploading the results on the club website so promptly.
