Serpentine Winter Party 2019
Join us for the party of the year on Saturday January 26th at London City Runners HQ in Bermondsey. Serpies and guests are invited to attend.
Christmas will soon be a distant memory with only credit card bills and hangovers to remind you of the festive period. While the 21st December signalled the winter solstice and the gradual creep towards longer and warmer days, spring seems a distant dream and summer a forlorn hope. Fear not fellow Serpies, some of us have been busy beavering away at plans for a Winter Party and can now reveal all the juicy details.
We've been lucky enough to reach agreement with London City Runners to use their fabulous new HQ as the venue for the party. This is at 130 Druid St, Bermondsey, SE1 2HH. For those of you not familiar with the area it's close to London Bridge Station in the heart of the ‘Bermondsey Beer Mile’. The venue is underneath the arches and has a fully licensed bar with a great range of beers and spirits and Serpies have exclusive use of the place for the evening. Tickets are limited and are priced at a very reasonable £25. This includes a welcome drink, some great food and a DJ. It all adds up to a great value night at a time of year when we all need a boost.
We know that there is a cross country meeting that afternoon, so Sid is arranging for the club room at the Seymour to be open. There's also ample space to store bags safely at the venue.
Serpies are welcome to bring a guest, partner or secret lover with them. We expect the event to sell out so don’t delay in booking your spot!
