Geoffrey Maddrell
We are very sorry to report the loss of one of Serpentine's long-standing members, Geoffrey Maddrell, who died in the evening of Saturday 11th August at the age of 82.
Geoffrey had been a member of the club for just fractionally short of 30 years, having joined Serpentine in December 1988.
Both Geoffrey and his son, Michael, were active in the club for much of the late 1980s and 1990s.
The provisional date for the service of thanksgiving for his life is 12 noon on Wednesday 10th October 2018; his family will confirm this in due course. Please let me know if you would like to attend and I will pass on the details. The service will take place in Chelsea Old Church, 64 Cheyne Walk, Chelsea, London SW3 5LT, where Geoffrey and his wife both worshipped. If you wanted to share any memories of Geoffrey with his family, they would love to receive them.
