The first race in the 2018 Assembly League series will take place in Beckenham on Thursday 5 April, with the race starting at 7.15pm.

The Assembly League is a series of six races open to all members of the 14 clubs in the league. These include Kent AC, Victoria Park Harriers, Dulwich Runners, Eton Manor, Stock Exchange AC and Beckenham RC.

Race HQ will be Beckenham Cricket and Tennis Club, Foxgrove Road, Beckenham, South London, BR3 5AS.

Race distance: ca. 3 miles

The clubhouse has good facilities.

The course starts in Beckenham Place Park and is undulating. The race is open to all Serpies aged 11 or over but parents of younger members should take note that the course will NOT be marshalled and there will be NO first aid presence.

Generally, the first Serpie to arrive collects our numbers, hands them out and completes the Entry Form. There is no entry fee as the club pays this as one of your membership benefits. The races usually attract about 150-200 runners of all standards. If possible, please run in a Serpie top.
