Serpie Trail run - Sat 17th Feb

Join us for the Serpie Trail run on Saturday 17th February along the London Loop from Bexley to Sidcup (11 miles).

ROUTE

Following the London LOOP for most of the run the route takes in Foots Cray Meadow, Scadbury Nature Reserve and Petts Wood. Most of the route is on solid forest paths with a few short road sections inbetween. The route can be very muddy so trail shoes are strongly recommended.

Pace will be around 8:30min/mile road equivalent, so you should be able to run 3 parks in around an hour.

TRAVEL

Meet outside Bexley Station at 10:45 (trains from Charing Cross, London Bridge or Cannon Street)

Return from Sidcup

WHAT TO BRING

Please note this is an unsupported run and we don't have any bag storage, so come in your running gear and bring only what you will carry with you. Bring sufficient water, a waterproof jacket and a warm top for afterwards, and a small rucksack to carry these items. You may also want to bring a couple of gels or other light snacks. Trail shoes recommended as this trail is currently very muddy.
