Latest update on club records

In a busy weekend of racing, one club record was broken, and another equalled.

Congratulations to:

  • Nick Torry, for breaking the club senior men’s record for 10,000m (track) with his 29:56.39 at the Ladywell 10000 track event on Sunday 3rd September organised by Kent AC.  The three fastest ever senior men’s times recorded by club members over this distance were all set in the same race, with Jonathan Poole running 30:56.47 and Tony Payne 31:25.20.
  • Janet Worster, who equalled the women’s V50 club record for 10k with her time of 41:12 at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10k on Saturday 2nd September matching Karen Hancock’s record that has stood since 2006.

If you know of any more club records being set then please do get in touch!
