Club 1 mile championship decided
Marta Bagnati, Jonathan Bradfod and Andrew Reeves won the women's, men's and age-graded 1 mile championship trophies on Tuesday.
Over 70 Serpies took part in the championship which was held over six heats. In the women's race Marta led from the start to win in 5:29.9, and in the men's race we had a sprint finish which Jonathan won in 4:37.7. Andy achieved the highest age-grading: 87.7%

Grand prix
The grand prix table is calculated on everyone's times compared to the winner's time for each gender in each of the four summer races (1k, 1mile, 3000m, 5k). Afer three races the grand prix table has Andrew Reeves just 0.06% ahead of Simon Barrett in the men's competition - which should make for an interesting 5k race - and Marta Bagnati leading the women's competition. Andy is leading the age-graded competition.
Next race
The final race in the grand prix is the 5k in Battersea Park on Thursday 27th July, 7.30pm start.
Registration from 6.30pm to 7.15pm outside the track.
