Club 5k championship and grand prix decided
Nick Torry and Isabel Clarke won the 5k club championship in Battersea Park on Thursday. Nick also won the age-graded trophy.
Over 80 Serpies took part in the championship. In the women's race Izzy broke the club record with a winning time of 16:43 well clear of second place Marta Bagnati in (I believe) a PB of 17:53. The men's race was much closer with Nick winning in 14:49 (just outside his own club record) followed by Jonathan Poole in 14:55. Nick achieved the highest age-grading: 92.5%

Grand prix
The grand prix table is calculated on everyone's times compared to the winner's time for each gender in each of the four summer races (1k, 1mile, 3000m, 5k). Afer four races the grand prix table has now been decided with Andrew Reeves winning just ahead of Simon Barrett in the men's competition, and Marta Bagnati winning the women's competition ahead of Daisy Gladstone. Andy also won the age-graded competition.
