Congratulations (again!) to Will Green

Many congratulations to Will Green, who broke his own V40 10k club record a week after breaking the 10000m club record

Many congratulations to Will Green who set a new V40 10k club record at the Great Manchester 10k on Sunday 28 May in a time of 31:55, trimming four seconds from the V40 club record he set at the Great Bristol 10k on 7 May, which in turn broke the 10k V40 record he set last November.

Will now holds the road running and track and field “double” for that distance after setting a new 10000m V40 club record on Saturday 20 May at the Highgate Harriers Night of the 10000m PBs event.  Will took nearly four minutes off the previous club record, set in 2001, one of several fine performances by Serpentine runners at that event.

As if setting three club records in a single month was not enough, Will also set the V40 10 mile club record at the Maidenhead Ten on 14 April, placing second overall in a time of 52:28.
