Summer League First Fixture - Gunnersbury Park, 4th June
This Sunday, 4th June, is the first fixture of the Summer League.
The Summer League is a competition between a select group of London running clubs. There are 5 fixtures located in parks around Greater London. You can enter as many or as few as you like. There are age-graded prizes up for grabs, and everybody who takes part scores points for Serpentine's standing in the league, so you are welcome whether 10k will take you 35 or 95 minutes. The entry fee is included in your club membership, so you can just turn up and race on the day.
Event format
The races start in Gunnersbury Park at 9.30 and are expected to proceed in the following order:
- 10k for anyone over 15 years old
- Fun run for your under 6 year olds
- Tenderfoot (1500-2000m) for your 6-14 year olds
- Relays, 300-400m x 6 for everyone
- Cake-athon
