Marathon Training Seminar 7pm Monday 21 January at the Seymour Centre

I'm pleased to announce that we will be holding a marathon seminar on 21 January that will be aimed at those targeting a spring marathon.

If you would like to attend please sign up here.
This is intended to guide your current and future marathon preparation and coaching.  It will thoroughly cover what you would expect a marathon coach to cover (and less so on what a physio, physician or nutritionist might cover) and should be of use to anyone interested in running a marathon in a time somewhere between 2:20 and 3:45 or so.

This will be presented by David Chalfen. He has been coaching for 15 years, is a Level 4 performance coach and was an England Athletics Area Coach mentor in endurance from 2009 to 2014.  He has coached many of Serpentine’s quickest distance runners during his 10 years at the club. He is author of Improve Your Marathon and Half Marathon Running, which is on England Athletics' recommended reading list for endurance runners and coaches. As a runner he ran 20 marathons with a PB of 2:32.
