Serpie Trail, Fell and Mountain Talk and Drinks Night

On Friday 5th January we will be hosting a special trail and fell talk with James Edgar, Harold Wyber and Matt Hearne. These Serpies, who have a wealth of trail, fell and mountain running experience between them, will be describing one of their favourite races each, complete with photos on a big screen.

This night, not to be missed, will be held in the upper room in The Castle Pub, 44 Commercial Road, London, E1 1LN.

The talk will begin at 7:00pm and will last for approximately 1 hour including a Q&A session. Afterwards, we will have drinks in the bar.

If you want to hear from Matt on his recent completion of the UTMB, James and his achievement of the ledgendary Bob Graham Round and Harold's recent successful OMM in high winds and thick mists, do come along. We hope to have a large group of our members who have also done weird and wonderful races, so lots of exciting things to talk about and I'm sure, we will all be going home inspired and putting races into our calendars for 2018.

This night is open to all Serpies, however, there is only space for 60 people, so you will need to reserve a place by signing up on the Serpie Planner.

Any queries, contact Samantha Day at participation@serpentine.org.uk.

Please respond as soon as possible to ensure your place. There is no charge for this event.

If you have any great ideas to promote off road running in the club, please get in touch.
