Lanzarote 2018 - book your place
"I love the Lanzarote trip and think it's the highlight of the training calendar for many reasons..." As in past years, the club is organising a trip to Club La Santa in Lanzarote in March to train, relax, hang out with fellow Serpies and generally have a fun time. The Lanzarote pages on the website have full details, options and costs and online booking.
I love the Lanzarote trip and think it's the highlight of the training calendar for many reasons including:
- You see so many new and old faces each year and make good friends and training partners
- it's a great way to focus training around your goals and / or weaknesses. So if you are marathon training, it's awesome for running and training with similar standards of runners. But also if you struggle with swimming you can really focus on that for a week for example
- the coaching is amazing. You get all this advice of how to train to the best of your ability and people who really support you to improve
- the setting is amazing. La Santa offers a huge range of stuff for cross training and to just do something fun or just lie by the pool.
You can choose from these two options:
- Package including flights, acommodation and transfers for 7 days (Thu 8th March - Thu 15th March 2018), including coaching.
- Package including flights, acommodation and transfers for 10 days (Thu 8th March - Sun 18th March 2018), with coaching for the first 7 days.
We have only 6 places left for the 7-day option and 14 for the 10-day option, so now to avoid disappointment. The trip really is for all abilities, with bookings ranging from Ironman finishers to 2-hour+ half marathon runners!
Please if you can, pay with a debit card - credit card fees added up to £1500+ last year, all of which comes out of the coaching and meal budget. If you can pay with your debit card, you can ensure a higher quality trip!
