Fell racing success for Serpie women on the Isle of Wight
Sarah Pemberton won the SEAA fell racing championship on the Isle of Wight last weekend. Several other medals were won by the Serpie women.
Congratulations to Sarah Pemberton (1st lady in the SEAA championship and 2nd lady in the Isle of Wight Fell Race series), Sam Ludlow Taylor (2nd SEAA, 3rd in the race series) and Vic Crawford (3rd SEAA). Sarah was the ladies winner of the Wroxall Round, the longest race of the series, and 2nd in both of the first 2 races.
The Serpie women's A team were 1st overall in both championships (Sarah Pemberton, Sam Ludlow Taylor, Vic Crawford) and the women's B team were 3rd overall in both championships (Deanna Laforet, Laura Renshaw, Jen Bradley).
