Paddington Track
Paddington reopened in 2021 after a full track refurbishment and now boasts a new 6-lane synthetic track. This is the track that Roger Bannister trained on in preparation for breaking the 4 minute mile while working at the nearby St Marys Hospital.
The club organises track sessions on Monday and Tuesday evenings starting at 7:00pm. Additional senior sessions are planned in the future. This is also the main location for our current junior training options on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
There are changing facilities, showers and small lockers available at the track. There is no fee for the track. Bags can be left trackside (no valuables please) with us, or lockers (if you have valuables) are located by reception which require a returnable £1 coin, or a token which also costs £1. Showers and changing rooms cost £3.15 (as of February 2023 and subject to change from time to time) payable at reception.
Within Paddington Recreation Ground, the Pavilion is also available for Serpentine group meetings / workshops etc. Please contact your Strategic Partnership Committee member for further details.
