Juniors Coached Sessions

Our Training Sessions

Our training takes place at Paddington Recreational Ground Track in Maida Vale, all sessions from 5:30pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday.

  • Under 10s on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  • 10 or over on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Please email our Juniors Coordinator first before attending the sessions. Juniors get two free sessions before they need to sign up for Serpentine RC as members.

They are open to all junior members who would like to run and have fun – no requirement on pace and performance.

  • Under 10s sessions are based on developing foundation skills through track reps, drills and games.
  • 10+ sessions are split into sprints and middle distance.

Our Coaches

All our coaches are fully qualified and DBS Checked. Our coaches understand and abide by the Club’s Code of Conduct, and adhere to the UK Athletics Child Protection and Welfare Policies.

We have a clearly defined coaching structure based on UK Athletics guidelines. The coaches ensure that the training suits the runner’s ability and they will help you improve and achieve your goals. All our junior members are introduced to the fundamental skills of athletics which are vital to every sport.

To help develop our junior section, we would be delighted to hear from any parents, relatives or family friends who are keen to be involved with coaching. Please contact our juniors co-ordinator or our tri coaching representative if you would like to help.
