The long-awaited Serpie Winter Social is set for Saturday 24 January 2026 at The Jolly Gardeners, 49-51 Black Prince Road, SE11 6AB. Following the success of the Summer 2025 event, we’ve decided to return to this friendly and spacious pub for our post-Christmas celebration. It is situated just a few minutes’ walk from Vauxhall station (Victoria line) making it convenient for you to return home with the Night Tube.

Join us from 6:30pm for your choice of drinks, and catch up with all your Serpie friends in an exclusively hired venue. If you’re participating in the Cross Country Championships in Beckenham, there is plenty of time to arrive after the race. We’re very excited to have an excellent DJ who be playing a range of music to suit everyone’s tastes, and creating a great party atmosphere which will continue until 1am.

Tickets are only £21 – this includes your first 2 drinks and a selection of tasty snacks. Choose from a range of beers and ciders (plenty of 0% options available), red or white wine (non-alcoholic options available), a single spirit and mixer, or a soft drink or mocktail.

The snacks will be served as a buffet from 7pm. There will be plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which will be clearly labelled. Please let Sophie know about any allergies or intolerances, so we can make sure your needs are catered for.

If you fancy something more substantial, you’ll have the option to order from the bar menu until 9pm. This includes a selection of main courses, as well as smaller starter portions and sides.
