Description
Monster Racing introduce their first Ultra, a 72.5km (45 mile) foot race. Starting at 8am outside the awesome Ely Cathedral you will pass through the City of Ely and onto the river bank of the River Great Ouse. You’ll follow this path to Wicken Fen, the first ever National Trust site and onto White Fen. You will pass through desolate Fens to take up the path along the River Cam, following the river to the outskirts of Cambridge to Jesus Green – the halfway point. You will then follow the same route back to the ‘Ship of the Fens’.
This event is ideal for those looking for something to fill the gap after a season of Ironman racing. It’s a flat well marked route and we’ll have support on the course.
Afterwards there will be access to showers where you can change into your well-deserved long sleeved event t-shirt and we hope you’ll still have some energy left to sample the delights and hospitality of The Lamb Hotel.
