Open Race (Men & Women) ~7km

Just under 2 laps of the Start/Finish field before dropping down the hill from the gap to run one lap of the Oakwood Side & returning to the Start/Finish field.
Just under 1 lap of the Start/Finish Field, dropping down the hill from the gap to run one further lap of the Oakwood Side & returning to the Finish.

The race starts adjacent to the car park inside the Cockfosters Road Gate. Any number of your members may take part but with only the first six (first claim members) men to score in the Fraternity Cup and first four (first claim members) women to score in the Sorority Cup.

This event is open to all UKA registered athletes and entry is on the day. Please note that competitors’ numbers and declarations / recorders sheets will be distributed at the start, and that a disc system will be in operation. Clubs entering teams on the day will need to designate someone to be ‘Team Manager’, who will be responsible for collecting race numbers and completing and submitting the declaration sheets at the end of the race.

Please advise your members that the presentation of the cups and medals for the first three individuals, first three vets, and the first three teams in both events, will take place as soon as possible after the race.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any changing facilities, but toilets are available, and these are close to the start, being located adjacent to the Cockfoster Road entrance car park.
