Serpie Planner - event reports

Sevenoaks Circular 30M (22 Mar 2009)

March 22nd 2009. The weather was largely fine and quite warm, a complete contrast to last year's event where the weather was anything but. The course goes on and around the Greensand Ridge on the North Downs and was firm underfoot with only sporadic patches of mud that could be skirted around for the most part. The food was excellent as usual with drinks, biscuits, sandwiches, sausage rolls, lemon bakewell tarts, the always welcome rice pudding with fruit on offer and to top it off a hot meal at the end! For £7 the best value day out running anywhere. I'll be back next year.

Sevenoaks Circular 30M (20 Mar 2011)

Another good serpie turnout to one of the great LDWA Challenges resulted in a fun day out in Kent. The sun came out at several times to warm the runners and the course had dried out amazingly since a training run on the same course 3 weeks ago.
