Vets AC 5M Road Race (15 Apr 2013)
The Vets AC races cost £3 to enter, and are on a fast flat accurately measured course (three laps of Battersea Park). There are no mile markers but, given that many of us know Battersea Park quite well, I don't think it makes much of a difference. The race is open to all Vets and seniors who are of Vets standard. The field is small - about 15 runners and 20 walkers. Low key. PB potential. Recommended.

greeted vets for the start of the
VAC series of 5 mile races
which run or indeed walk (racing wise)
monthly, ending in august
a well organised event
i recommend these to any vet serps
who are partial to a 5 mile midweek blast
around the periphery of battersea park
