St Neots Half Marathon (16 Nov 2003)

Very friendly, well organized race about 1 hour north of London, between Bedford and Cambridge. Undulating course with three short, rather steep uphill sections, but a nice 3 mile downhill finish. Nice, crisp, sunny day, but a strong headwind on the way back. Paul Fromme

St Neots Half Marathon (15 Nov 2009)

With the club half marathon championship in Gosport, Serpentine was not defending the men’s team prize won continuously the last 5 years. Steve Watterson still produced the goods for Serpentine, winning by a margin of more than a minute. Race conditions were not perfect for a PB with a stiff breeze in places and the sun out and almost warm, but still very nice running conditions.
