QEOP Duathlon Summer Series (24 Aug 2014)
The 4/5 in the Summer Senior Series at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, organised by Triathlon England and this time Greenwich Tritons hosted. 2 mile run; 10 mile cycle; 1 mile run - all round the 1 mile Velopark circuit. Low key event but better turnout than earlier in series - 71 competitors - with mix of club and beginner athletes. Really recommend for closed course, good atmosphere and value for money (was £10).
Simon was 3rd in 20-39 age cat and Jen was 2nd in F20-39 and 2nd overall Female.
