Torrential rain the night before and until 4am left the roads wet and mucky and with some large roadside puddles along the route but no course changes required. Quite windy

After weeks of uninterrupted sunshine and soaring temperatures, Ride London decided to give us heavy rain from about 6.30am. Tough conditions on the roads with lots of people by the roadside fixing punctures.
