Worthing 10k (11 Jun 2003)
Out from the leisure centre along the promenade and back along the roads. Mostly flat with slight gradients. Very well organised with police and stewards controlling the traffic. First half slightly faster as it is on a slight down gradient to the turn at the end of the promenade at around 6km.
The race starts and ends on the running track. Kilometre markers along the way, but not sure how accurate they all were. I found some of my kilometre splits towards the end of the race varying by up to 90 seconds.
Facilities: plenty of changing, limited locker space in the leisure centre (about 20 lockers, take a 50p piece)
