Club’s Championship Races  – Book Your Entry Now

Please sign up for the club’s championship races now. All abilities will be catered for via seeded heats and the entries to the below races are free of charge for all club members. The pre-booked entry is required to make race day administration more streamlined. Members will require a website login to book the free entry to the below events. The below championship events will also have post-race socials for club members.

Tue 23 July (7:30pm) – 3000m champs (Paddington Track) – https://www.serpentine.org.uk/events/serpentine-3000m-club-championship-2024

Sat 27 July (9am) – 1k road champs (Hyde Park) (meeting by Lido Cafe) – https://www.serpentine.org.uk/events/serpentine-1k-club-championship-2024

Tue 30 July – 1-Mile champs (Paddington Track) – Registration and number collection between 6.45pm and 7.15pm.  First race at 7.30pm – https://www.serpentine.org.uk/events/serpentine-mile-club-championship-2024

The above events are hosted by the club volunteers. Would you like to be involved?

We are currently looking for:

1-mile and 3k events – 3 or 4 track judges (to record finishing order), and 4 or 5 marshals who will ensure that members of the public don’t try to use the track while the races are taking place (Westminster Council will also provide one of their park staff).  Those people track judging should be able to run in one of the heats in addition to judging.

1k event – 4 judges to record the finishers numbers, plus 3 or 4 volunteers to marshal the course.

If you’d like to help or would like further information, please email Malcolm French,
on malcolmfrench1962@yahoo.com and thank you in anticipation of your support.
