run fast, run slow, run together!

Join Serpentine Today!

The Serpentine Running Club is one of the largest running clubs in London. Based at the Seymour Leisure Centre in Central London, our community of 1,000+ runners and triathletes includes all ages and sporting levels — from beginner to elite. Join Serpentine and you can:

Run London and beyond with us

Our group runs occur every Wednesday evening (Hyde Park), Saturday morning (Hyde Park), and Sunday morning (Richmond Park), with distances from 7km to 16km. We also organise monthly trail runs in the Home Counties and beyond.

Train better

Check out our weekly training sessions! Join our UKA-qualified coaches every Tuesday evening at the Paddington Rec Track (Maida Vale) or try one of our hill training sessions at Primrose HillGreenwich Hills and Hampstead Heath. Suitable for all levels. We also offer Junior-training sessions for runners aged 5-18.

Beginners and novice runners welcome

Just starting to run, or thinking “I’m not fast enough to join a club?” Think again! Our weekly group runs are beginner-friendly with designated groups for slower and less experienced runners. Check out our running courses to improve your fitness and help get you up to speed (literally!).

Do triathlon

Training for a triathlon? Improve your swimming at one of our weekly coached pool sessions. Or join one of our  group bike rides. Or why not join other triathletes for our annual training holiday in Lanzarote?

Compete with us

Come join us for the Serpentine Handicap 5k in Hyde Park on the first Saturday of every month, – where the most improved runner wins! Compete with the Serpentine team in inter-club league racestrack & field meets, and cross-country events.

Socialise and volunteer

Meet other members at our regular club social events, or get involved by volunteering at our running sessions and races.

Try us before joining!

Why not come and try a club run with us before joining? We offer reduced membership fees for students, over-60s, unwaged and junior members.
